Welcome back! Once again we have a guest and this time its a potential life and death issue. Is there a problem in the way the building safety standards are applied and practiced in Las Vegas? We have Fred Frazetta, the whistleblower responsible for bringing the issue of Harrah’s alleged non-permitted renovations to light.
We cover not only Harrah’s but also the Monte Carlo fire and the non-response to a very scary and potentially life threatening scenario.
Lastly, we touch on both Danny Gans moving to Wynn Las Vegas and on the ongoing courtroom battle between Sheldon Adelson’s Las Vegas Sands and a Chinese consultant that claims he helped to make Macau happen for LVS.
We are back again, this time with guest Tom Breitling, formerly of the Golden Nugget. He has a new book out called ‘Double or Nothing’ in which he covers his successes at both Travelscape.com and the Nugget.
Tom was a lot of fun to talk to and I’m sure you’ll enjoy his commentary. I want to thank him for participating.
Well, we’re back - our first show served up from our new home here at VegasGangPodcast.com!
This show was a lot of fun for everyone I think - we were lucky enough to be joined part way through by Christina Binkley, author of ‘Winner Takes All’, a recently published account of the Las Vegas deal-making that has dominated the past few years.
Make sure you are subscribed to our new podcast feed, linked in the upper right. Also, the book is available below:
We talk the concept of ‘free’ and casinos, lots of fresh details on Encore at Wynn Las Vegas, Majestic’s Vegas numbers, and more. This is a don’t miss for Wynn fans.
The second time around, the topics include Crown investing in Harrah’s/Station, MGM Grand Detroit, Pure being raided by the IRS, Cuba as the next Macau and more.
Well well well - we have our own domain name! Since the show is really starting to take off, I wanted to create it’s own home on the ‘Net so here we are.
I will post the older show URLs here and all new shows will be posted here as well.
